| Maxicare MAXIFEST: Live Your Best Life and an attempt of Guinness World Records of Most People Hugging Soft Toys simultaneously was held at Central Park, SM by the BAY last December 15, 2019. |
Maxicare, Premier Healthcare Provider in the Philippines organized the Maxicare MAXIFEST: Live Your Best Life, a series of events organized to help you live your best life through Maxicare Run, Maxicare Market, and an attempt of Guinness World Records for the most number of people hugging a soft toy simultaneously.
The day was started with Maxicare Run as early as 4:00 AM where runners started to arrive in the venue especially those who were participated in 16KM -run. Yours truly joined the 3K and already there at 5:00 AM.
After the run, finishers in all categories received their medals and loot bags with cute Maxibear.

After the race/run, each runners received a Maxibear to hug simultaneously. Maxibear will then be donated to the kids of Kythe Foundation in time Christmas.

One of the highlights of Maxicare MaxiFest breaking the record of Guinness World Records of Most People Hugging Soft Toys simultaneously.
After hugging our bear, the representative from GWR and their staffs have deliberation and tallied the result based on their criteria.
To keep the event going, Maxicare awarded to those runners excel in the race run having the best time at the entire duration of the run. Three (3) winners (1st, 2nd, and 3rd placer) in each categories (16K, 10K, 5L, 3K, 2K, 200M) received medal of appreciation and token from the organizers.
And afterwards, the moment of waiting and announcement. And it's official. We are able to surpass the previous holder - USA with 399. We have achieved and we are the new holder of Guinness World Records of Most People Hugging Soft Toys simultaneously for 10 seconds with 654 participants.
