"I will walk for a scholar. Walk with me! This is the famous tagline of Answering The Cry of the Poor or ANCOP. On their 5th year, ANCOP Global Walk 2016 is inviting everyone of all ages and from all walks of life to participate in raising funds for education and likewise to create an awareness about ANCOP. Beyond your Walk, Their Dreams.
The ANCOP Global Walk 2016 is a 5-kilomer walk which will happen in 20 countries simultaneously including Philippines. Manila is part of it and it happen on Sunday, August 14, 2016, 4AM at SM Mall of Asia grounds, Pasay City. Also, seventeen (17) provinces in the country will also join in this walk to their respective areas.
During the press conference last August 7, 2016 at Max Restaurant Araneta Cubao, Some of the scholars were given the chance to share their experience and how ANCOP change their lives.
ANCOP Global Walk is an ANCOP Couples for Christ's work with the poor initiative.
Two of them were Julie Ann Burio, who is studying at the De La Salle-College of St. Benilde and Anilov Martin, currently enrolled at V. Mapa High school in Manila.
According to Julie Ann, "Iba po pala ang feeling 'pag scholar ka. Hindi naman po yung hinahabol mo yung pera. 'Yung hinahabol mo po dun yung makakapag-aral ka na, makapagpatuloy ka na..."
Registration
A registration fee of Php 300.00 for your BIB and Singlet. Registration is on-going. You can visit their official facebook
Those who would like to register on the day (onsite registration) of the event is also welcome.
Gun Start
Ancop Global Walk 2016 will have a gun start at 5:00 AM.

She adds, "Para sa akin po, ang education ang foundation mo para sa magiging buhay mo. Ito 'yung tutulong para maging stable ang future mo."
